After our successful performance in the WECONOMY contest, we received our prize at the WECONOMY weekend at the Landesbank Baden-Württemberg in Stuttgart from Bosch chairman Franz Fehrenbach.
Together with ten other winners, we claimed the first part of the prize and met with more than a dozen of German top managers. Throughout the day, we spoke with company representatives about topics such as market entry, product development, and organizational as well as corporate development. We further developed our business idea in extensive discussions with personalities from German businesses, including Franz Fehrenbach (Robert Bosch GmbH), Michael Heinz (BASF SE) and Dirk Schallock (fischerwerke GmbH & Co. KG).
The business initiative Wissensfabrik which is a platform of more than 130 companies and foundations in Germany, is organized by WECONOMY together with the newspaper Handelsblatt and UnternehmerTUM, the Centre for Innovation and Foundation of the Technical University of Munich. Beyond the WECONOMY weekend, the founding initiative offers three theme-specific events with WECONOMY partner companies that are tailored to the needs of start-ups. Thus, WECONOMY becomes a platform for interaction between start-ups and established companies, promotes mutual understanding and turns good founders into successful entrepreneurs.
